the first census held in our country was held in 1872
since then a census has taken place without interruption
census of india 2011 is the 15th census and the seventh after independence.
the slogan for the census 2011 is "our census our future"
once all the data has been possessed and cleared (it includes biometric data as well)
it will be sent to the unique identity authority of india(UIDAI)
it will be sent back to the office of the register general&census commissioner,india(ORG&CCI)
