In the field of islamic education Mampuzha has played a dominant role for ages.
the mosque based dars-system of mampuzha was well-known..in..pasts..as..well..as..today.
the..teachings..of..well..known..islamic..schollars..made,,this...area..attractive...for..those...who...
wanted...to..be...educated...in...islamic..concepts.
students..came..from..almost..all..parts..of ..kerala...as..well..as..from..other..places...like..
LakshwaDeep.
for a long time the dars system kept up as a leading islamic educational institution.
the eminent teachers like U Abdurahmanmusliyar and Amanathkoyannimusliyar,they were also the spiritual leaders of the islamic community in those days.so the mosque-based dars system could graduate many studentswho have eide range of knowledge in all aspects of islamic religion.the educated students who came out from the dars made the poeple aware of islamic teachings and the teachings prophet(s)with both their tongue and tongue.the religious oration long-lastedin their minds and they also made new darses in their own working places and invited more students to study about islam.
the hundreds of alumnae of this dars system has been working in almost all parts of our state as well as in other parts of our state.for a score of years it stood as the front runner i nthe socio-religious and cultural reformation of the people. they througly taught people what to do and what not to.as a result people lived in accordance with religious values.
eventually as a result of the so-called renainsance started to admit their children to the so-called good institution instead of dars.they want to admit their children in those courses that help them to earn money.in such a critical moment our religious leaders began to thinkof new methods of studythat would derect people inthe right path.they also realized the fact that the ignorance of worldly matters wil fail the islamic students from undertaking the challenges of the time.
as a resultt the idea about Al hasanath arabic colege occured in their minds.it may end the bad plight of the dars education.befor long a fine curriculm was preepared for the proposed Arabic college.and on the dawn of 07-08-1997 Panakkad sayyed haidar ali shihab laid the foundation of the arabic college.and soon there held the admission of the forst batch.eventually the humble plan became a realitywith about 30 students and2 teachers.the college curriculm is set up for 8 years.the admiission to the college is limited only for those who passed the seventh standard of the madrasa and beecame eligible in the interview that held in the college campus.and frpm a tender age the institution undertakes the student and will make them highly qualified and religiously prudent within 8 years.
so far the institution could sentfor about a 50 students for further education after completing their 8 year's study in the college.
five years before an idea about establishin a Hifzul quran college occured in the minds of the authority.and soon after establishing of the college the college could make for about a six students hafiz(one who completely biheated the quran)
now we have in all these 3 institutions(arabic college,dars&Hifzul quran college)about 300 hundred studentsand working more than 15 teachers and 10 non-teaching staffs they lead the institution forward.
The Al hasanath college is a good example for synthasized education.But,indeed it gives more emphasize on islamic studies without ignoring any other acadamic faculty.within small number of years the institution could cater to the public many highly talented scholars and many students with multiple talents.it takes care in up-bring the literal faculty and ability of the students especially in arabic and english.the library of the campus is vast and is very useful to the students as it contains a wide variety of books such as ,religious,literal,science and so on.the college subscribes for about 20 publications besides the daily newspapers.they would keep the students up to date with new development that takes place in the world everyday.the association of the college students namelu,Sirajul ulama students association holdly weekly discussions and debates and literary associations andseminars on various subjects.it conducts timely competitions among the college students and distribute prizes for the winners.the inmates ofthe campus proved teir talent in various competitions that held in the various parts of our state.especially in the Sargalayam meets of SKSSF the students bagged prizes on difffrent fields.
as a need of time it provides its students the computer education also.thestrengh behind all thishumble efforts is not our organizing ability but by the spiritual triumph of Ali-hasan muslyar (puh).we hope the 3 institutions may last long and serve the societyunder the protection of god.
